Behind ihdev.fr is me, Ivan Horner, a freelance developer.

I am a versatile and passionate developer. I develop software for Windows or Linux, web apps, and Android mobile apps. My expertise is mainly around making scientific and technical tools and data accessible to a broader audience.

My experiences are diverse. I built strong technical foundations thanks to an early hobby for programming. This was strengthened during my engineering degree in agricultural sciences, my PhD, and several jobs as a research engineer. Today, as a freelance developer, I continue learning and practicing to always be up-to-date with new technologies and to be the most efficient and relevant when answering my clients' needs.

In my current work, I help my clients at every stage of their projects, from the initial idea to the production-ready product. I only work on solutions that are the most ergonomic, robust, and long-lasting, using only state-of-the-art practices. I like working closely with my clients through regular discussion to build what they really need; I find this is often the key to achieving the best possible results.
